Rent a Hero No. 1 is an action RPG released for Dreamcast in 2000. It's a full 3D rendered remake of the 1991 version originally released for the Sega Mega drive in Japan only, with gameplay similar to Shenmue. This is a full top-down translation by the Rent-a-modders team.
The story is about the main character Taro Yamada, an ordinary boy from the Yamada family that just moved to the Koja Town, he takes delivery of a suit of power armor by mistake and puts it on thinking it's just a funny costume... but then you discover it gives you actual super strength, and become a local superhero for hire to pay off your rental fees to SECA Enterprises, the creator of the armor. It's a tongue-in-cheek chore simulator that starkly contrasts something with more serious nature such as Shenmue, where instead of tracking a crime boss for revenge, you're fighting monsters to impress girls.

NOTE: All Dreamcast reproduction games include a full manual, and region free disc. NOT ALL Dreamcast systems can play CD reproductions, your Dreamcast must have been manufactured before October 2000, Dreamcasts manufactured November 2000 or later most likely can not play reproductions, but they are far less common systems. Look for the sticker on the bottom with the date on it, and a number in a circle near the word PAL or NTSC, if the number is 0 or 1 you can play reproductions on your console.
